Cualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in sales within rhythm management;Mandatory experience in the healthcare sector;Fluent in English and in Spanish;Degree in biomedical engineering or similar;Availability to travel.

 

Purpose:

Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent in Madrid.  

 

Responsibilities:

Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues, general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.With limited instructions of Manager, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabsCultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.Upon request may lead a project team of moderate scope.

    Buenas! Me he graduado este año en la UPC en ingeniería biomédica y tengo bastante claro hacia donde quiero enfocar mi futuro pero no se como hacerlo. Me gustaría especializarme hacia el procesado de imagen para mejorar el diagnóstico de pacientes, añadiendo a esto la inteligencia artificial para dar aplicaciones mas exactas y fiables. Mi pregunta es, ¿Qué máster tanto dentro como fuera de España me podría especializar hacia esta rama? ¿Sería mejor que realizase un máster en inteligencia artificial o informática y me especializase después en la medicina o existe alguno especifico de este campo?     A Predoctoral position is available in the Biomedical Engineering Group at the University of Valladolid (Spain). The Predoctoral researcher will focus on deepening the research, implementation and setting of computational algorithms to simulate the neurodegeneration mechanisms involved in dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Requirements Candidates must hold a in Master’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
